1. Italian CONSOB Enforces Ban on Understanding of foreign exchange tradingFive Illegal Financial Websites
The Italian financial regulatory body, CONSOB, has added five unauthorized financial service websites to its blacklist, including FP Invest, XTB Empire Ltd, PRIMUSLTD, and Simple Trading/Simple Trade, bringing the total number of banned sites to 945.
2. European Futures Exchange Releases September 2023 Data
The European derivatives marketplace, Eurex, reported its trading figures for September 2023, with the total trading volume reaching 176.6 million contracts, a 32% increase from the previous month’s 133.4 million contracts. In terms of over-the-counter (OTC) clearing, the nominal volume of outstanding transactions grew by 14% year over year, from 262.860 billion euros in September last year to 300.690 billion euros. In Eurex's main financing electronic trading market, the Eurex Repo, the daily average trading volume in the collateral pool GC Pooling significantly surged to 197.5 billion euros.
